Year 7s Explore Litchfield

Before our Middle School camps wrapped up in Term 3, our Year 7s had the pleasure of exploring Florence Falls and surrounds at Litchfield National Park.

Over the 3-day camp the Year 7 students tapped in to their knowledge of water, carrying out water-related observations and experiments. They also revisited their previous study of ecosystems as they explored the Magnetic Termite Mounds – which stand up to an impressive two metres high!

They participated in a number of other activities such as underwater photography and orienteering, and class 7B was even lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the Super Blue Moon!
