Unit of Inquiry Takes Students to Parliament House

Howard Springs Year 5 students visited Parliament House as part of their ‘How we organise ourselves’ Unit of Inquiry. Students saw many sections of Parliament House, including the Chambers and learnt how the preferential voting system works. They even participated in a mock vote using the preferential system.

While there, students (and teachers) were very fortunate to meet Northern Territory's Chief Minister, Hon Natasha Fyles.
