Future College Leaders Put Forward Their Case

On Monday 21 August, six shortlisted Year 11 students addressed the students and staff at a whole school assembly at our Middle/Senior campus, putting forward their arguments as to why they should be named as one of the 2024 College Captains.

NT Opposition Leader Lia Finocchiaro MLA and all Heads of School from all Good Shepherd campuses were in attendance to hear what Grace J, Syed, Charli, Lucas, Grace R and Doug had to say.

Each student outlined what the College means to them, as well as what they would aim to implement if they were appointed. At the conclusion of the assembly ballot papers were supplied to students and staff so that they could vote for their preferred candidate. We will publish an update when the results are released!

All six candidates spoke incredibly well and, regardless of the results, all have fantastic leadership potential. More photos are available on our Facebook page.
