Farewell Sarah Mott

On Monday 4 April we farewelled Sarah Mott who has been with Good Shepherd since 2002! Sarah commenced as a primary school teacher at our Palmerston Campus but was soon involved with the developing Middle School, moving to the brand new Howard Springs Campus in 2008.

Sarah taught Music, Woodwork, Visual Art, Drama and Christian studies in the Middle School. A highly accomplished teacher, jack of all trades and most certainly, a musical virtuoso.

Sarah has been involved with numerous College musicals and coordinated many music recitals for both primary and secondary students, which have been amazing. She has been a music tutor and taught herself to play the violin, just so we could continue to offer it in the music program! Sarah is a very gifted piano player; having played for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for most of her 20 years here. She is also a talented guitar player.

Most recently, Sarah has been a relief teacher at the College. She is highly respected by students and staff and has been a most wonderful blessing to us all at Good Shepherd.

We would like to wish Sarah, David, Mitchell and Leah all the very best for this exciting chapter in their lives - undertaking new adventures in Atherton, QLD. We will miss you all very much.

Sarah's favourite Bible verse is Psalm 37:4 - "Take delight in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart".
