Year 9 Information Evening

We'll begin with a 'Welcome BBQ' on the lawn, open to all Middle/Senior families. The Year 12 Orientation Session will begin at 5:30pm in the lower Senior School foyer. Join us and find out all you need to know about entering the Year 9 'Rite Journey' program at Good Shepherd!

The Rite Journey in Year 9 is a unique educational program targeted at guiding students through a journey from child to young adult and is designed to support the development of responsible, resilient, resourceful, and respectful adults. 

Given the current lack of Rites of Passage in the western world, young people are left to invent their own, which are often unhealthy and unsafe.

The program will be delivered in a unique learning environment that will promote growth through understanding key aspects that are important to becoming a responsible, caring and respectful young adult that can see value in contributing to society.
