On Saturday 25 November, two nights after their official graduation, our Year 12 students and their families celebrated the end of their schooling with an ‘A Night with the Stars’ themed valedictory formal at the Darwin Turf Club.

Dressed to the nines, students, families and staff began the evening with canapés in the grandstands. They then enjoyed a buffet dinner before dancing the rest of the night away.

The educational journey of our great Class of 2023 students was celebrated – 18 of whom have been at Good Shepherd all the way through from Transition to Year 12! The outstanding effort and commitment of our dedicated staff was also recognised – the Year 12 cohort secretly planned a beautiful gift for Year 12 Coordinator and Careers Practitioner Mrs Synnott, who coordinated this fantastic event and who has supported them unconditionally through the highs, the lows, the laughs and the cries during their final year at Good Shepherd.

The evening truly was a celebration for the entire College community. Huge congratulations are in order for our Year 12 graduates who are now eagerly awaiting their exam results which are due to be released on 18 December. Best of luck to all students, or, we should say, ex-students!
