Howard Springs Junior Celebrate National Grandparents Day

Did you know that Sunday 29 October was National Grandparents’ Day? Our Howard Springs Junior School did! On Friday 27 they held a ‘Grandparents and Special Friends Day’ in celebration, where they enjoyed a number of fun activities, games and a yummy morning tea.

Grandparents and Special Friends were invited to talk about what school was like for them and to share what sort of activities and games they played in their youth. Some also brought along photos and artefacts from the ‘olden days’ for the students to learn all about how things were done ‘way back when’!

The students had a blast bonding with their Grandparents, Special Friends and each other. We can’t wait for next year’s event!
