Get To Know Our New Middle/Senior School Staff

This term, we’re welcoming a whopping 13 new staff members to our College community! Get to know the seven fresh faces that will be joining our Middle/Senior School campus in Howard Springs this year.

Mr Jake Barnes
Head of Students – Years 6-12

  • Rugby League is my favourite sport (the Litchfield Bears and Brisbane Broncos are by far the greatest teams).
  • I grew up just around the corner from the Howard Springs Campus – Mum and Dad still live there!
  • I have a creek crossing through my driveway which floods in the Wet Season.

Mrs Sharna Condran
Head of Humanities

  • I enjoy being outdoors.
  • I enjoy cooking desserts.
  • I love spending time with my family.

Miss Siobhan Niland
English/Humanities Teacher

  • I grew up in Alice Springs.
  • I play competition 8-ball.
  • I love to dance and draw.

Mr Kyle Furness
Maths/Science Teacher

  • I love all sport, especially soccer/football.
  • I have a German Shepherd.
  • I recently travelled Europe for a month.

Mr James Tudor
Maths/Science Teacher

  • I once won my age group for cross country skiing.
  • I also once entered a kickboxing tournament (and lost in a TKO).
  • I’ve visited and/or lived in the capital city of every state/territory in Australia. I love to travel this country!

Mrs Christina Bonaciba
Arts/Design Teacher

  • I’m an electrician by trade.
  • I travelled around Australia with my family in a caravan for over four years.
  • I have two daughters.

Ms Kirsten Page
Administration/Reception

  • I have a little Jack Russell puppy, Pepper, who loves to keep me busy in my spare time – she's very confident and adventurous!
  • I love to ride my bike – I'm very enthusiastic about using fitness to keep a healthy, active mind.
  • I love to cook and try new recipes!
