Year 10 German Language Students & the Linzer Torte

Thank you to German Teacher, Olga Aryan for this post and well done to our Year 10 German class:
"In our current unit, 'Off on Holidays“, the Year 10 German class has been learning about travelling across Germany and Austria. We have learnt about various destinations in Germany and Austria popular for people across the world. We have learnt about thatched-roof houses at the Baltic Sea, Island Rügen and 'roofed wicker beach chairs' that people use in Northern Germany. We travelled to Austria and visited Linz, a beautiful city on the river Danube. As a culmination of our experiences in German this term, we tasted the Linzer Torte that is said to be the oldest cake in the world. You would ask how this was possible? Look at the pictures!
