Palmerston Campus - 'Cafe 5' Students Study Sustainability

Palmerston Campus 'Cafe 5' students have been learning about the UN's Sustainable Development Goals and inquiring into how these are being implemented in different countries.

Last week they watched a BTN (Behind The News) video which explained the effect plastic is having on the world and heard about Molly Steer's 'Straw No More' Project.

Jade and Jayde, Year 5 students, took it upon themselves to create and distribute posters to the community; informing them about the effect plastic has and encouraging them to say 'No!' Well done girls! This type of action will surely help lead the world towards the global goal of improving Life on Land.
