The title of my artwork is “Clay Whale”. My artwork looks like a whale’s tail.

My artwork is a whale’s tail painted dark blue and another darker blue.

The art elements and principles of my artwork are colour, form, texture.

I have used colour to show the colour of the whale, I have used form to make the shape look like a tail, I have use texture to show bumps. The media my artwork is made of is sculpture. The tools I used to make my artwork include: my hands, clay tools, and paintbrushes and glaze.

My artwork was inspired by saving the whales from plastic in the ocean. My artwork has the environmental issue of plastic pollution in the ocean.

When people look at my artwork, I want them to see that its bad to pollute the ocean because it endangers animals.

My artwork did not follow my artist intention, because I didn’t do a whale tail coming out of the ocean.

I can use my skills in my next artwork because now I learned how to sculpt.

By doing this artwork, I learned how to sculpt using clay, this achieved one of my goals. The artwork also achieved my other goals because I imagined a whale tail coming out of water.

This artwork will influence my future artworks because now I can use sculpture when I do artworks when I’m older.
